ABOUT WAITIKI 7
The WAITIKI 7 are defining a new movement in Exotica…Classic Exotica for Modern Listeners. Dedicated to the preservation and resurgence of Exotica music and the related Tiki culture, W7 is modeled after the classic groups of Martin Denny, Arthur Lyman, and Gene Rains. The WAITIKI 7 is the
only modern group that performs Exotica completely live and acoustic – just like in the 1950s.

WAITIKI 7 FAN BASE
The WAITIKI 7 audience is worldwide and primarily 34 – 59 years of age with an average annual household income of $75K+. They are discerning niche consumers of Tiki, midcentury modern, bachelor pad lounge, cocktail revival, hipster, surf, go-go, burlesque, swing dancing, vintage automobiles, comics/fanzines and anime. On the music side, they are also into Latin jazz, jazz, easy listening, classical/orchestral music, contemporary/modern classical, experimental, DJ/dance, rockabilly, swing, Afro-Latin, Afro-Cuban, Hawaiian, Hawaiian Slack Key, “Jawaiian”, reggae, island contemporary, soca, samba, semba, bossa nova and Puerto Rican music/percussion/reggaeton.

Worthy of note, too, is a strong Asian minority following, consisting particularly of Chinese, Filipino and Japanese 21 – 39 years of age. This is partially due to WAITIKI 7 drummer Abe Lagrimas, Jr. being a well-known figure in the Filipino-American Jazz Festival and Asian-American Jazz Festival circuits in the U. S. and The Phillippines, and name recognition of Lopaka Colon in markets with significant Hawaiian populations. WAITIKI 7′s core audience lives in New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, California and Hawaii.

This is your opportunity to reach a highly-targeted segment of your potential customers!
